In the new music-themed levels of Fruitegic Quest, our fruit crew doesn’t just jump and collect — they rehearse, perform and learn what makes real music come to life.
One of the first stops on this musical journey is our brand–new Glam Rock level, hosted by none other than The Czar, the most dramatic plum you’ll ever meet.
Here, kids discover:
which instruments make up a glam rock band,
how songs were created before 3-second scrolls and instant skips,
and how bands used their style, lyrics and sound to inspire entire generations.
It’s loud, glittery and full of heart — just like true glam rock.
🎶 Inside the Glam Rock Level: Glitter, Colors and Guitars
The Glam Rock level in Fruitegic Quest is built as a mini-music lesson wrapped in a playful game world. Kids move through stages where The Czar explains:
Keyboards – how a single plum on the keys can carry the melody and set the mood.
Bass guitar – why the low, deep notes are the “heartbeat” of the band.
Drums – how rhythm keeps everyone together and makes you want to move.
Step by step, players see how each instrument adds a layer to the band’s sound. Instead of just tapping a screen, they’re quietly learning how a song is actually built — from rhythm to melody, from quiet intros to big, powerful choruses.
The main message of the level is simple and bold:
“Be bright, be loud, be yourself.”
In this world, makeup, glitter boots and neon lights are not “too much” — they’re a way to show who you are.
The Czar: From Grocery Bag to Glam Rock Star
Before he was a rock legend, The Czar was just… a plum.
One day, an older lady bought a paper bag of plums at the market. Somewhere between the street corner and her front door, one little plum slipped out of the bag.
He rolled… and rolled… and rolled…
…right into the Fruitegic universe.
That’s where everything changed.
In Fruitegic, that ordinary plum found music, stage lights and a band that believed in him. He became The Czar, a glam rock star with a shiny jacket, big feelings and even bigger dreams.
Today, The Czar:
plays keyboards in his band Star Fruit,
shares the stage with Galina (sister of original character Gala) on bass guitar,
and Lemonovi, the energetic drummer who keeps everyone in time.
Even though he’s young, The Czar is obsessed with the time when glam rock was born. He loves to talk about:
years when you could take your time to listen to a whole song,
days when you were allowed to be as weird, colorful and creative as you wanted,
and how a band could change the way an entire generation dresses, talks and dreams.
He doesn’t like the “3 seconds and scroll” lifestyle.
For The Czar, three seconds will never be enough to understand the true value of a song… or a person.
That’s why, in his level, he gently reminds kids:
“Slow down. Listen. Give music — and yourself — a chance.”
Why Music Matters in Fruitegic Quest
Fruitegic Quest has always been about more than just winning levels. In our music worlds, we want every child to:

“Stay in the Game” quickly became a favorite among players. It carries everything The Czar believes in:

By finishing the level, kids don’t just unlock a track —
